Cranes is a trading journal, a place to record and reflect on trades you decide on and execute elsewhere. Because our users trade high risk products, we want the risk position stated plainly, in one place. Cranes is a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 95838570, based in the Netherlands. This page sits alongside our Terms of Service.
Trading is high risk
Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Forex, CFDs, futures and other leveraged products carry a high risk of losing money rapidly. The majority of retail accounts lose money trading them. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose. Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains, and losses can exceed deposits on some products and venues.
Past performance is not indicative of future results. That includes your own: statistics in your Cranes journal, win rates, profit factors, your Cranes Score, discipline index, streaks and observed patterns describe what happened, not what will happen. An edge that shows in your history may not persist.
What Cranes is, and is not
Cranes does not execute trades, does not hold funds, does not connect to your brokerage or prop firm account, and does not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Nothing in the product, the dashboard, Analytics, Cranes Score, economic news feed, account warning, risk limit, calendar marker or any other feature is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold or trade anything. Nothing in Cranes is a financial promotion or an invitation to engage in investment activity.
We are not authorised or regulated by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) or any other financial regulator, and we are not a licensed financial adviser in any jurisdiction. If you need advice about your circumstances, consult someone who is authorised to give it.
The economic news feed
The economic calendar shown in Cranes is sourced from a public, external data feed for informational context only. The underlying figures are published by central banks and national statistics offices. We do not verify their accuracy in real time, values can be delayed or revised, the feed can go offline, and nothing shown there should be relied upon as the sole basis for any trading decision.
Event descriptions, impact levels, countdowns and session windows are general informational displays. Session times can shift with timezone and daylight saving changes and may differ between sources. They are not official statements from any institution. Cranes is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ForexFactory or any other data provider, exchange, broker or prop firm; all third party names and trademarks remain the property of their owners. To the extent permitted by law we accept no liability for losses arising from the use of, or reliance on, the news section.
Your data, your decisions
Journal analytics are only as accurate and complete as what you record. Rules and limits shown in Cranes are settings for reflection, not controls on your broker account. Cranes cannot stop an order, close a position, prevent a daily loss or guarantee compliance with a prop firm's rules. Every trading decision you make, and every profit or loss that follows, is your own responsibility.
Prop firms, certificates and performance cards
Cranes is independent and not affiliated with any prop firm, broker or platform named in the app. Rules, targets, drawdown limits and payout terms are set by that firm and can change; their own dashboard always outranks anything shown here, and we are not responsible for a failed evaluation or a lost account.
The Prop Firms directory is informational help only. Its data comes from public sources, can be outdated or incorrect, and is not a recommendation to buy any challenge. You use it entirely at your own risk and must verify every rule with the firm itself.
Certificates and payout screenshots you upload are stored as provided and are never verified or audited by us. Performance cards show only what you recorded yourself. A trade card can be drawn over a market price chart retrieved from a public third party source; that line can be delayed, incomplete or wrong and is not a trading signal. Cards and charts are not verified results and must never be presented as a promise of future returns or as advice to anyone else.
Posts, replies and stories in Cranes Community are written by members, not by Cranes. A member's opinion, setup or result is not research, not verified and not advice to you, whatever badges or statistics that member's profile shows.
